Eleanor F. Dolan collection, 1912-1993.

The Eleanor F. Dolan Collection dates from 1912 to 1993 and reflects her active concern for women, particularly women in higher education. International in scope, the material is often ephemeral in nature and includes letters, reports, newspaper articles, periodicals, addresses, bibliographies, and sample publications relating to women. In Dr. Dolan's own words, " ... this collection covers the development of the women's movement and the status of women over the last 20/30 years." Although the material covers primarily the period from the 1950s to 1986, there are occasional items which date earlier.
